pH Partners is seeking a Vice President to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to join our firm and play a key role in pH Partners’ continued growth and success. The Vice President takes the lead on most aspects of transaction execution, including due diligence, marketing materials, client communication, and structuring. The VP will also play a key role in business development, marketing outreach, client pitches. Typical advisory transactions include sell-side M&A and capital raises on behalf of middle market privately held clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Leads day-to-day oversight and execution of client engagements
- Management and mentorship of analyst and associate team members
- Oversees the creation of and review/refinement of financial models and client materials
- Manages due diligence efforts working directly with management teams and investor groups
- Conducting extensive company and industry analyses
- Supports ongoing business development efforts, including pitch books, target identification, participation in prospect calling programs and writing industry reports
- Plays a leadership role in firmwide initiatives, including recruiting, training, staffing and marketing initiatives

Investment Banking Healthcare Associate
Austin, TX – Full Time
pH Partners, a boutique investment bank based in Austin, TX, is seeking an experienced Healthcare Associate to join their team. pH Partners offers an excellent opportunity to join a team of highly seasoned professionals who provide M&A and Capital Formation Advisory services. Our clients span all major healthcare verticals, including MedTech, Diagnostics, Biopharma, Healthcare Services, Pharma Services, and Healthcare IT.
pH Partners offers an entrepreneurial culture where Associates regularly interact with clients and are required to make meaningful contributions to deals. Associates assume a critical role in the entire transaction process, including the initial pitch, due diligence, preparing a written prospectus or memorandum, meeting with potential investors/buyers, negotiating key terms, closing the deal, and maintaining the client relationship.
In general, our Associates work on various transactions, including M&A advisory assignments, private equity placements, and strategic options studies.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of investment banking experience or MBA with 1 – 2 years’ post-MBA investment banking experience or an Advanced degree (MS, Ph.D., or MD) in one of the Healthcare disciplines (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Microbiology, etc.)
- Advanced understanding and knowledge of healthcare industry participants, performance drivers, trends, and challenges
- Strong understanding and knowledge of healthcare, technology, and consumer industry participants, performance drivers, trends, and challenges
- Prior work experience with accounting, financial or market data, databases, or analysis tools (e.g., Pitchbook), Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and enjoy collaborating with others on projects
